Tip Kylian Mbappe to exit Paris Saint-Germain after the League 1 awards

PSP striker Mbappe: "I have reached a turning point in my career."

Kylian Mbappe suggested that he study his future in Paris Saint-Germain and admit to being open to a "new project".

The 20-year-old World Cup winner was named French Footballer of the Year on Sunday, winning the Player of the Year award and the Young Player of the Year awards.

But after receiving his award from Didier Drogba, the striker said: "It is a very important moment for me. I have reached a turning point in my career.

"I've discovered a lot here, and I feel it may be a good time to shoulder more responsibility.

"I hope it's in Paris Saint-Germain, it would be great fun, or maybe somewhere else in a new project."

Mbappe scored 32 goals while PSG retained the league title, but the club failed once again to achieve the Champions League's ambitions for the billionaire owner of Qatar.

Paris Saint-Germain allowed two goals in the first leg to shine against Manchester United and were eliminated in the last 16.

Mbabi stood next to his comments after the celebration, adding: "I said what I have to say.

"When in such an occasion you can send messages, I think I have sent to me.

"If I talk more, it will be too much and this is not the message I want to send."

Earlier this year, the president of Real Madrid suggested that Zinedine Zidane use his French relationship to attract Mbappe to the club this summer.

"Zidane is French, so with Mabab he can do something," said Florentino Perez.

Pep Guardiola rejected reports that Manchester City could sign Mbab in October last year.

"Manchester City does not have and will not spend the money that Mpab deserves or deserves from Paris Saint-Germain," he said.
